How to get software for home use

There are different ways to get software for home use depending on the particular application.

Accessing software for home use can be obtained by the following means:

AppsAnywhere is the University's primary service for delivering teaching software. It is a web-based portal that will provide you with access to a wide range of university software. It works by streaming the software to a University Windows Computer, Virtual Windows Desktop, or your own Windows personal computer (licensing restrictions permitting).

For software that has Mac and/or Linux versions available, download links are available via AppsAnywhere, so that you can install a local copy of the software on your personally owned Mac or Linux device. Please access AppsAnywhere to see what software is available to you.
