Your account for the IMC

Before the start of the IMC we will send you an email to your registered email address.

The email will contain the username of the account you can use to access the computers, printers and WiFi while you are at the University of Leeds for the IMC.

The email will contain a link to set your own password for the account. As part of the process of setting your password you will be sent an email to your registered email address to verify your identity.

We recommend that you set a password for the account before you travel to Leeds, and that you keep the email.

You can use the link in the email again if you need to set a fresh password while at Leeds, but you will need to be able to access your registered email account to do the verification process.

If you can't get an internet connection while you are at the University of Leeds and you need to set your password please visit the IMC Helpdesk.

Set a password for your account

Important

The password you set should be different to anything you use for any other website or company.

Do not use your first or last name as part of your password.

Your password will need to be at least 8 characters long, and contain at least one of all of the following:

Click the 'visit here to set your password' link in the email we sent to your registered email address.

Click 'Continue' on the page that displays the username (this will already be filled in - do not change it).

A code will be sent to your registered email address.

If the email doesn't appear in your Inbox please check your Spam folder.

Enter the code from the email and click 'Continue'.

If the code is not accepted

The code is only valid for 5 minutes, after that the code will expire and it won't be accepted.

If this happens close the web browser, and click the 'visit here to set your password' from the first email to restart the process.

Once you pass the verification you will be prompted to set a new password.

Enter a password in the two boxes and click 'Change password'.
